First, the boat arrives at Playa Varadero, the main arrival point on Ixtapa Island. Although the boat traffic here is quite heavy, the beach is packed with restaurants and water activities, making it the perfect place to start. From here you can continue to the island’s other beaches.
Playa Coral is the place to relax in the most tranquil setting, as it is not accessible by boat. The clear waters and coral reefs offer wonderful diving opportunities. If you like aquatic adventures, be sure to bring snorkelling equipment or rent one and explore the underwater world. Don’t forget to bring water shoes, as the coral reefs can be sharp!
