Time for a Change

Victoria

I need a new look, I need a new look!” Every time I meet my Parisian friend Loiseau, that’s what he says. And every time I reply:
“Loiseau, you’re perfect just the way you are!”
That’s when the biggest smile appears on his face.

But he’s right: sometimes, a little change is exactly what we need.

I’ve just given my blog a fresh new look. What started as a journey following the 219 ports of the Victoria Cruises Residential Ship is now transforming into something more personal, more colorful, and more heartfelt.

From now on, I want these posts to feel more like a painting – with a richer palette and deeper shades. That’s why, when I write about Florence and Tuscany, I won’t only show you the “mandatory” stops like the Uffizi, the Pitti Palace, or the Bargello Museum. Instead, I’ll take you behind the scenes of Renaissance culture, where every corner, every street, every artwork tells a story.

I want you to feel Florence, not just pass quickly over the Ponte Vecchio, but experience the heartbeat of the Renaissance.

In the coming posts – rain or shine, just like my daily morning macchiato – I’ll be sharing Tuscany’s hidden treasures: family-owned wineries, forgotten hilltop villages, and sunset-drenched vineyards.

Florence will always be a world-famous must-see, but the secret corners of Tuscany, and even Florence’s hidden gems, rarely appear in guidebooks. That’s why I’ll bring them to you – to turn tradition into a true experience.

So stay just the way you are – perfectly unique. I’ll do the same, just in a new light. See you in the next post!
